Happy Labor Day - We’re changing the rules

Flag folk artIf you get the feeling that you've read this before, it's not blog deja vu; I posted nearly the same post at the Association of Real Estate Professionals (AREIP.org) Blog. Sorry for being lazy – but it's a holiday weekend and I'm already cutting into my "friends and family" time.

Well, it's the last weekend of the "summer season" again. We've got some more "official" summer and then some great autumn weather to enjoy, but Labor Day weekend traditionally signals the end of vacation season and the beginning of another school year over much of the US. Here in Kentucky, school has been in for nearly a month. As a native Northeasterner, I just can't get my head wrapped around that, but it isn't my decision.

Speaking of decisions, have you ever heard someone use the expression "When I'M King…" I got to thinking one day. What does Prince Charles say when he doesn't like the way something is done? "Mom?"

OK, I hear ya. This is a marketing blog – enough time spent on the road to Grandma's house. Do I really have something to say today? Not much, actually. I just wanted to wish you all a happy and safe Labor day weekend. If you're out there driving, watch out for the Bozos. Very often, their clownoflage disguises their evil intent to drive with their heads in the clouds, their cell phone in their ear, their Blackberry on their lap and their lunch on the dashboard. They think of it as multi-tasking, but we know it better as Bozofication - watch them, they are everywhere.

Have a great weekend!

Now, about that rule change I mentioned in the title of this article. Starting with the very next post after this one, we won't be automatically sending each post in an email as it is posted. Instead, we will notify you that a new post is available and you can decide whether to come and read it or leave it 'til next time.

If you really want each post as it happens, use the RSS feed links in your browser or on any blog page to subscribe via Really Simple Syndication. Or just click here and Feedburner will take care of it for you.

We here at Orange Cat are taking the weekend off for the first time in a good while. We're gonna kick back, have a little BBQ and Bourbon and enjoy life with friends and family for a few days. I humbly suggest you do the same. See you on Tuesday!
